Midweek actvities for those with babies and pre-school age children

Bright Sparks
Monday 10.00am - 11.15am Spurgeon Room
For children aged 2+ and their parents and carers. Play activities with a story, singing and craft each week.

Toddlers
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10.00am - 12.00pm Spurgeon Room
A drop-in and play time for little ones and a chance for parents and carers to chat, have coffee, and play with their children.

New Mums' Friendship Group
1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month 10.00am - 12.00pm Hall
For mums with new babies to have tea and coffee and meet other mums.

Powerhouse (0 - 11 year olds)
Sunday morning groups that take place at the church during the 10.30am service.

Connect (for young people aged 12+)
Sunday morning (during the 10.30am church service).
Connect meet at the church for discussions, creative activities and games to help young people connect life and faith.

Connect: Afterhours (for school years 9+)
Sunday evenings (term time) 8.00pm - 9.45pm
Meets at homes of different church members for food and discussions on life and faith and occasionally joins with other local churches when they run youth services or events, as well as enjoying movie nights, meals and times to chill and have fun.

Girls' Brigade

Girls' Brigade is a Christian uniformed organisation for girls aged 5 - 18 years old. We meet on Friday evenings in the Church Hall from 6.15pm (term time) for fun, games, craft and friendship. Activities include: cooking, craft, games, dance, drama, discussion of moral/social issues, first aid, fund raising for charities, and many more.

Our motto is 'Seek, serve and follow Christ'.

Our aim is to help girls become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and, through self control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life.

Badge work is based on Service, Spiritual, Physical, and Service to others.

Cubs and Scouts

The church has hosted Colchester Sea Scout Group since 1956. Cubs and Sea Scouts meet on Wednesday evenings (term time) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Beavers age 6 - 8

Scouts age 10+
Explorer Scouts / Young Leaders age 14+
