Anyone who is a follower of Jesus Christ can be a member of Colchester Baptist Church. The Membership Covenant reflects our commitment to God and to one another. We use the word 'covenant' to describe our relationship with one another as a church because it refelcts the nature of God's relationship with us.
A covenant is a mutually agreed set of promises between people (or people and God) and the membership covenant is based on mutual commitment, responsibilities and promise to love, support and encourage one another and be involved in the mission of the church.
